I can open the program and point and click but there's no other way to see if anything is working unless there's an image open and it won't let me do that. Bizzare. I have "alt filter" chosen for images on the "Artwork" screen because I don't have Office. I do have Microsoft Word, but it's an earlier version of it which Vista still accepts. Seems the default software for opening images automatically is Windows Photo Gallery. Don't know how to change that but even so, they have an option to move the image into Photoshop and that doesn't work either. It opens Photoshop but then I'm back where I started.
I have Photoshop Elements, by the way. I purchased it last year when my old computer died and took the full version with it. It had been loaded by the guy who made my computer. Now I have to try and get some money put away for the full version. But somehow I don't think that has anything to do with it. It's a simpler, pared down version, if you're familiar with it.
I'd sure appreciate any help you can give me here. This means entering all the images first into the file for Working Artist before I ever open Artist and then going in and entering them. While that makes sense, it means before I can go back and use Photoshop for anything, I have to reboot.
