Paypal and string lengths

Hello,

I'm interested in purchasing WorkingArtist - just a few questions.

1)Any thoughts on making payment possible through paypal (even including the 3% service fee in the cost)?
2) I notice the blog kinda fell away - any plans on future development or is 3.08.12b the final build?
3) Is there anyway to change some of the string lengths in the user selected fields? I keep getting a 34 character max message.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Sorry for not responding sooner. Regards your questions....

1. Yes, we'll have the ability to accept PayPal in January. We actually have it now, but I haven't had a chance to add it to the website. We've got a number of changes to the website coming, and that will be one of them.

2. The blog unfortunately fell on hard times as I worked on the design of WorkingArtist4. I've come up with some other ideas to bring more of a sense of community to the WorkingArtist population, and you'll be seeing those as well in January. Whether we rejuvenate the blog or not remains to be seen.

3. I'll take a look at the 34 character limit. It could be something we incorporate into WA4, which is currently in development.

Ron,

No problems - thanks for the updates. Totally understand about the Blog - if you've the time I'd recommend killing that link. It gives potential buyers a little trepidation when surfing the sites (hence the questions as to whether there'd be a v. 4.0).

Thanks on the 34 char thing. I'm using the optional fields for file names (which sometimes run a little long). I wonder if it is based on including them in reports (which tend to need fixed field lengths to allow formating to work).

Cheers and thanks for a great product.

Alex
