Slide sheet import to Word

The slide sheet feature in Working Artist is working fine. However, when I "click" on the Word icon, in the program, I only get the text.

I am not able to import images into Word from a slide sheet.

I have reinstalled Graphic Filters but all I get is Title etc of the work.

Hi Hank,

Unfortunately it's not possible to export the images because the images are not embedded in the WorkingArtist table but are linked from external image files. The only thing that is stored in WorkingArtist is the "path" to the image file.

You can, however, print the entire document as a pdf document if you have the Adobe PDF Writer software on your computer. If you do, preview the report and then select File/Print. In the Name drop-down box, select your PDF Writer as the printer, then click OK to create a pdf document. Then locate the pdf document and print it. This will create a very good copy of the WorkingArtist slide sheet report.

You will have to go to [www.adobe.com] (or other online source) to purchase a copy of the Adobe PDF writer if you don't have it.

You could also create an html document but this gets a little more complicated to explain how to set up with the image files, so let me know if you want info on that. The PDF file is easier, but you don't have to purcahse anything to create an html document.

If you are looking for a way to create a document that you can email to someone, either of these solutions would work.

Hope this helps!
Kathryn

A less expensive way to make a .pdf document is to buy something like DocuPrinter LT at [neevia.com]

You can download a trial version to make sure you like it. I've been very happy with it.
